LIVE·Indoor sports
Tight space, artificial light — broadcast quality all the same.
Handball, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, indoor riding arenas: everything indoors is tighter and the light comes from the ceiling. Merten can cover every home fixture automatically — from camera positions that otherwise go unused.
The situation
Indoors, the best position is not one you can stand in.
Halls are full: seating right up to the line, officials’ table, team benches. The positions with the best view — under the ceiling, in the corner, above the goal — are out of reach for a camera crew. That leaves the fixed camera on the balcony, and a picture that does not explain the play.
What changes
What changes.
Positions nobody else uses
Permanently mounted under the ceiling or in the corner — close to the play, without costing a seat.
With the light the hall already has
Built for hall lighting rather than studio conditions — no extra rig to put up.
Riding arenas too
Winter shows and the warm-up arena run on the same installation as the outdoor events in summer.
The installation
What an installation looks like.
Two to four under the ceiling
On a truss, the ceiling or a wall — off the court and out of the seating.
Once, then part of the building
After rigging, nothing about how the hall operates changes.
At the push of a button
Throw-off to final buzzer — start it and end it.
What the installation is built from
Who it serves
Four routes, the same installation.
Venue, club and league
You cover your own fixture list — home game after home game, without an extra shift.
Streaming provider
Many halls at the same picture standard, instead of improvising at every venue.
Production company
Cover several halls on one match day instead of one.
Systems supplier
Fits the hall technology you install anyway — truss, network, power.
